We Propose that this 2- day Leadership summit with Theme Effective Leadership at the Grass-Root be held as soon as possible to enable these leaders to hit the ground running. We humbly suggest the end of July or early August before the Electioneering campaign begins. It would be the prerogative of the commission to choose the most appropriate time to fix this Summit, while A-NexFlux would ensure the program is properly organized.

RESOURCE PERSONS

We have a pool of re-known international conference speakers we can draw from and when necessary, source for relevant speaker(s), well informed with practical testimonies to engage. We have a rich faculty Board and access to sound researchers in Lagos Business School (Pan African University) and other institutions of learning readily available to transfer to participant their wealth of Knowledge.

 COURSE CONTENTS;

• The 360° Leadership approach;

Develop and harness participants’ leadership potential and help them deal with the challenges of leading from any position, the middle and from the top. Help them avoid errors and myths of positional leadership hence help them to be effective in any position, from anywhere in the organization.

• Policy Implementation and Progress Audit;

Every Administration come in with dreams and campaign promises, hence with new or modified policies to achieve these goals. Participants’ will be exposed to standard strategies and helped to self-develop suitable strategies to implement, follow through and monitor these policies and execution until intended results are achieved.

• Creative Thinking and problem so1ving as a leader;

At every curve of change or progress, leadership at all levels will face minor and major challenges. A leader is expected to be creative to anticipate these challenges, think through them and proffer balance solutions to dealing with problems. Participants’ will be exposed with the fundamentals of creative thinking and problem solving as a 1eader.

• Health Talk: (Oral-health the gateway to your Total-health) Participants will be able to see the link between Oral health and Cardiac diseases, diabetes, pregnancies and their total health. Every Leader needs good health to function optimally, hence at the end of this seminar participants will be better informed and prepared to deal and develop preventive measures against these ailments.

• Leadership values, ethics and harmonious relationship within organs of government towards good service delivery.

Participants would be able to see how the fundamental Values and ethics affect the effectiveness of any leadership, this seminar topic will stress on; harmonious relationship within different organs of government, individual Integrity, faithfulness and discipline. Everything accomplished requires time; leaders need to optimally and prudently

invest their time to be effective and productive. Time management skill will be a major discuss in this leadership summit.

• Organizational Value and quality management Systems;

Participants will understand the dimension of their performance within the organizational system, how their work(s) affect, influence the chain of operation(s) and the bottom-line. They will also see how to build enduring management systems that are effective, efficient and provide sustainable values.

• General over-view of Legislative process and procedure;

Participants will be exposed to the general processes and procedures involved during legislative seating. Good knowledge and understanding of the legislative working processes would encourage harmony and enhance deliverability from both arms of government at the grass root.

• Creative and programmatic approach to revenue generation and management, aimed at self-sustenance of each Local Government Area Council.

• The people and government teamed approach to security; a necessary synergy to safe environment/LGA/Communities.
